mbi6655为恒流、高亮度、降压型直流对直流转换器，可提供led室内/户外照明应用具成本效益的解决方案，仅需5个外部组件，即可为大电流led照明提供稳定之电流。mbi6655使用hystereticpfm架构设计，不需要外部补偿电路，因此可简化电路设计。mbi6655的输出电流可透过不同阻值的外接电阻来调整各输出级的电流大小，且可在dim脚连接脉宽调变(pwm)讯号进行调光控制。mbi6655的特色还包括一系列完整的ic保护装置。启动过流保护装置(start-up)功能可限制ic因电源启动时所产生的突波电流。过热断电装置(tp)和过电流(ocp)装置可确保系统稳定度，且led开路与短路保护机制也可避免ic在不正常运作的情况下损毁。mbi6655目前提供散热性佳的sot-89-5l和sop-8l两种封装。应用-mr16、par灯等的投射灯(projection lamp) -led台灯(desk lamp/table lamp)-恒流照明源
