cm3212 is an advanced ambient light sensor with smbus protocol interface and is designed by the cmos process. it offers a convenient controlling method by digital output interface. thedigital output signal improves noise and signal lag issues.
  cm3212 incorporates a photodiode, amplifiers, and analog circuits into a single chip. the best spectral sensitivity is used to be closely capture real human eye responses. cm3212 has anexcellent temperature compensation capability and its robust refresh rate setting does not need an external rc low pass filter. the software shutdown mode reduces power consumption for itspower saving requirement. cm3212's operating voltage is 3.3 v and can detect a wide range of light power environments. the maximum detection light strength is 50 klux
