memo-scanner for benzs&e-classis newly developed and specially designed forcar owners or diys. with a memo scanner, you may quickly findout trouble causes of electronically controlled systems on your carby reading the trouble code (dtc) shown on memo-scanner andchecking out trouble causes with attached manual.

2. functions:
readingtrouble codes: when press the read button, the memo scannerwill read dtcs of powertrain system one by one.
clearing trouble codes: when press the clear button,the memo scanner will clear dtcs of powertrain system.
3. operation:
when thecheck engine light is on, stop the car and apply theparking brake, start the engine then plug the memo scanner tothe 16-pin socket usually located under the instrument panel in thecar.  
it will display the brand name uiftwice . then press the readbutton, it will read the trouble code reader trouble code anddisplay 3 times. if there is no trouble codes, it will display [---- -- --].
when press the erase button, it will clear the troublecodes.
in case that mmeo scanner can not be plugged in directly orcodes can not be seen due to socket facing downward, use theextension cable with the female plug to connect with memoscanner and 16pin plug with socket.
