aaem through the introduction of foreign technology is a methacrylic monomer used to formulate high-solid solution acrylic resin and acrylic emulsion with low voc emission for industrial and architectural coating. 
aaem is an ideal monomer for self-crosslinkable room temperature cure acrylic emulsions and can be used to formulate the industrial and textile emulsion with high quality. due to its better performance like making the reaction easier under control, lower crosslinking temperature and improved adhesion, it can be used to supersede nma, daam, hema, gma etc 
it can be applied to acetoacetylated polymer via metal ion pincers and cross linkage for the production of colorfast fibre.
aaem readily polymerize with acrylic and methacrylic monomers.
