燃烧性试验是采用规定尺寸的本生灯(bunsen burner)和特定燃气源(甲烷或天然气)，按一定的火焰高度和一定的施焰角度对呈水平或垂直状态的试品定时施燃若干次，以试品点燃、灼热燃烧的持续时间和试品下铺垫的引燃物是否引燃来评定其燃烧性。

设备技术特点

4、照明灯具采用标准防爆灯具，符合安全标准配有水平燃烧夹具、垂直燃烧夹具和柔性试品夹具，其中柔性夹具导轨采用进口品牌,均可上下、前后、左右调节（仿美国atlas）自动控制，可以保证若干次试验可以连续自动进行采用进口的电流表、时间继电器（yoto）和计数器（奥托尼克斯)，欧姆龙继电器及底座
5、其他元器件采用国产名牌
6、通风风扇采用密封型风扇，保证在试验时内部空间处于完全封闭状态． （标准要求）
