modelpae-32turboshaft engine trainer is a runnable allison 250 engine(or its militaryequivalent t63 engine) mounted on a mobile standcapable of full operationthrough a console. it provides acost-effective training resource for hands-ontraining in any amtprogram. the trainer comes with all the necessaryinstrumentationand controls to run the engine.
theengine ismounted with all necessary electrical wiring, engineaccessories, controls, andinstruments that are needed for runningthe engine. the students may also betrained to remove and replaceparts for field level maintenance practice.
engine ismountedon a portable stand with casters,with complete startingsystem and aserviceable nicad battery. as an option in modelpae-32-a, engine controlsconsole is mounted on a separate moveablestand.
theengine trainermay be mounted on wheels for easy mobility as shownabove. for fixedinstallations, the trainer is provided with heavyduty vibration and shearmounts to absorb vibrations.
thetrainer issupplied with comprehensive documentation comprising ofelectrical schematics,user manual,training manual, and computerbased training (cbt).
