the simethicone wrist action® shaker has been modified to meet the requirements for simethicone testing as described in the current edition of the u.s. pharmacopoeia. the test employs a radius of 13.3±0.4 cm, measured from the center of the shaft and shakes through an arc of 10 degrees ( lever arm set at approximately 5) at a frequency of 300 (±10%) strokes per minute. burrell scientific redesigned the shaking mechanism and supplies the multi-suregrip™ clamps and shafts which allow the shaker to achieve the required performance levels for the simethicone foaming solution test.
