the fias-100 has a single peristaltic pump for carrier, reagent and sample solutions. a five-port valve permits flow switching and precise sampling with interchangeable sample loops. carrier gas flow is controlled via a flowmeter display. a quartz cell with removable quartz windows is provided for fi-mercury or hydride determinations. the cell can be heated with either an air-acetylene flame or an optional temperature-regulated electrically heated cell assembly.
the fias systems are equipped with an rs232 interface. a supply of start-up materials and all manuals are included. a push-button device for manual program starts is supplied with the fias-100. other options for the fias-100 include the alternate reagent kit.
