grayish-white or white powder, inodorous, nontoxic. density of 1.13-1.19. easily soluble in acetone, ethyl acetate, benzene, alcohol, slightly soluble in carbon tetrachloride, insoluble in water and gasoline.
mainly used as mediumspeed accelerator in natural rubber and synthetic rubber. used as an active agent 
in thiazole accelerators, autumn lamb accelerators and lodine acyl accelerators. used for continuous
vulcanization when in combination with dm and tmtd. mainly used in the manufacture of tires, slab rubber,
 soles, industrial products, hard rubber and thick wall products.
